For an affordably priced Android powered tablets check out the ViewPad 7e from Viewsonic. Of course it is no match for the bigger name tablets but for the price I believe that the ViewPad 7e will give them a run for their money.
Here are a few specs:
The Viewpad 7e runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread OS) unlike the other big name brands that run on the Honeycomb OS. As I
mentioned the upside to the others is that it is priced for those with a lower budget.
The ViewPAd 7e also comes with a 1 GHz processor and 512MB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage that can be upgraded up to 32GB. These are very good specifications for the price point. The good sized 800 X 600 multi-touch display is crisp and clear and it supports RiteTouch so you can use a stylus to write on the screen.
Included with the tablet is a 3-megapixel rear facing camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for your video calls. A HDMI port that supports 1080p HD video is provided as well. Both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are included as connectivity options.
If you want to try something different then the Viewpad 7e it is. It’s affordable and you get some decent features for the price point. An alternative to this tablet is the latest offering from Amazon, the Fire tablet that will be available come November 15th.
The ViewPad 7e from Viewsonic sells for $199.99 and you can order directly from Amazon.
